CONFIRMED: NY Giants Fire Offensive Coordinator Mike Kafka Following Latest Loss.

However, the offense regressed in 2023 and into this season, with Kafka facing criticism for his play-calling and inability to adjust in key moments. With the Giants ranking near the bottom of the league in offensive categories, the front office felt it was time to move in a different direction.
With Kafka out, speculation now turns to who will take over play-calling duties. Head coach Brian Daboll, who has experience as an offensive coordinator with the Buffalo Bills, could assume the role himself. Other potential candidates from within the organization include quarterbacks coach Shea Tierney or running backs coach Jeff Nixon.
