In a recent post, Pounds shared a video of him and Payne in the studio, filmed by Ruth Gibbons, showing the two listening to the track.
They also gave a shoutout to Chris Brown, expressing their hope to involve him in the project.
Following Payne’s passing, Pounds shared several heartfelt tributes, celebrating their shared musical moments and remembering Payne as a talented artist and friend.
Payne, who previously released only one solo album, LP1, in 2019, had teased fans with new music earlier this year.
His death in Buenos Aires, due to severe injuries from a fall, shocked fans worldwide. The release of “Do No Wrong” serves as both a tribute and a way for fans to connect with Payne’s legacy.
